When Ron and Carolyn Beinlich started farming in 1971, a few cattle were a mere sidelight to Ron’s metallurgical engineering career. But with the fall of the Pittsburgh steel industry, Ron needed a new job, and Triple B Farms was born! Twenty-five years later, we are bigger and better than ever. Our first customers from the mid-1980s will remember how we sold strawberries from a refurbished tent trailer, then expanded to a pumpkin festival run out of the top floor of our old cow barn.  Now we have a full Country Market & Gift Shop, homegrown fruits and vegetables all summer long, a brand-new refreshment building this summer, a popular playground, lots of farm animals to see and feed, an observation beehive, the best school tours in the region, and Pittsburgh’s Finest Family Pumpkin Festival.
